BRIDGES began as a conversation around slower, more meaningful travel long before sustainability became industry vocabulary. Nine editions later, it continues to bring together a growing collective of hotels, travel designers, conservationists, storytellers, policymakers, and change-makers shaping the future of travel across the subcontinent.
BRIDGES is among the subcontinent’s few carbon-assessed event, actively building towards nett zero goals.

Travel designers, companies, and organisations aligned with GTSC to redefine tourism as a force for good are invited as hosts to participate in the subcontinent’s only carbon-conscious event, building towards nett zero.
BRIDGES for Conscious Travel is committed to strengthening its sustainability journey by quantifying every aspect of its carbon footprint for Scope 1, Scope 2 and partial Scope 3 emissions. The event is probably one of India’s first travel events to undertake a realistic inventory of greenhouse gas emissions as per globally instituted norms while also taking steps towards mitigation and offsets through internationally validated credits.

Curated by RARE, BRIDGES for Conscious Travel is designed on two key ideas around travel. That tourism's primary beneficiary must be the community while remaining authentic to the destination.
